About Hoop Manager

Hoop Manager is an independent game, developed in France by a basketball fan, for basketball fans.

Why this game

The idea came from a simple wish: to rediscover the fun of the sports management games of the past, where every decision matters and you can't wait for the next match, but with matches you can watch live and a league shared with real opponents.

The match engine simulates every possession, taking into account the players' attributes, their fitness, the chosen tactics and how well the team masters its system. The result is never written in advance: a good game plan can topple an opponent that looks stronger on paper.

A game built with its community

Hoop Manager is constantly evolving. Many of the new features (friendlies, sponsors, saved tactics, pre-game shows…) come straight from the ideas and feedback of the managers on the game's Discord server. New features are presented in the guide.
